Service Description

Pixlocal is an image optimization tool. All image processing happens in your browser using WebAssembly. Images are never uploaded to any server. The service converts and compresses images between formats including AVIF, WebP, JPEG, and PNG.

Free Tier

The free tier allows up to 20 image conversions per browser session. No account is required. No restrictions on file size or output quality.

Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to abuse the service
• Resell or redistribute access to the service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code beyond what is publicly available
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific compression ratios, or compatibility with all file types or devices.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixlocal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Since the service is currently free, total liability is limited to zero.

Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all images you process through Pixlocal. We claim no rights over your content. Pixlocal does not store, access, or transmit your images.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Armenia.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
