Your Images Never Leave Your Device
All image processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your photos and images are never uploaded to any server. Pixlocal has no access to the files you process. This is not a marketing claim. It is how the software works.
Data We Collect
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 may collect:
- Pages visited, session duration, referral source
- Device type, browser, operating system, screen resolution
- Approximate location (country/city level, IP is anonymized)
GA4 uses cookies to distinguish users. You can opt out by declining cookies in the consent banner or by using browser extensions such as Google Analytics Opt-out.
Hosting
Pixlocal is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may log IP addresses and request metadata at the CDN level for security and performance purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Pixlocal uses cookies only for Google Analytics. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party marketing tools. You can accept or decline cookies when visiting the site. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time

Data Retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings (14 months). We do not maintain a separate user database at this time.
Children
Pixlocal is not intended for use by anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
